Rejuvenation of the Nasolabial & Marionette Fold via Fat Graft

The nasolabial folds (the lines that appear from the nose to the top of the mouth) and the marionette lines (the lines from the mouth to the chin), commonly referred to as the ‘laugh lines’, are the most vivid signs of aging. They can start appearing in individuals whom are in their twenties and get more pronounced further along the aging process.

As these lines deepen, the skin tends to fold and give a sunken, tired look. Placing fat in the fold, helps lift the skin and rejuvenate the crease, giving the area a more fuller look, making the entire face appear more youthful.

SEDATION

The procedure is conducted under local anesthesia.

DOWNTIME

Patients typically spend 1 hour after the procedure in the recovery room under the watchful eye of our trained patient care specialists. There is no bruising and the swelling subsides within a week. Patients can carry on with normal activities within 2-3 days post procedure.
