“There is definitely a growing demand for regenerative medicine here in the region and cosmetic surgery continues to be an ever-evolving industry in the Philippines,” Dr. Alfredo Callanta said during a media discussion in Makati City.
Callanta is the medical director of Empire Centre for Regenerative Medicine in Quezon City. Regenerative medicine is an interdisciplinary field of research and clinical applications that seek to harness the body’s innate ability to regenerate.
